Norte:
Our friends at Silver Spruce Brewing Company have brewed up a very special rye pale ale, made especially for Norte. It's called Ryed, and it will be unveiled Sunday, May 1, at 4 pm. Come on down after the Previously Loved Bicycle Neighborhood Yard Sale and try a pint with the Norte staff. Throughout the month of May, Silver Spruce will donate $1 from every pint sold toward Norte's youth programs. Thank you! 🙏🧡🍺

This workshop is a broad discussion of bicycle touring, from a “credit card tourist” to a long range adventurer. We will have several decked-out touring rigs for folks to look at, a broad range of touring gear, and a slide show with great photos from around the U.S. and Europe. A question and answer period will follow the slide show.

Attendance will be limited to 60 people due to a room capacity limit. Please send an email to Bill Danly at lhtdirector@cherrycapitalcyclingclub.org if you are interested in attending. The meeting is open to the public, and is not sponsored or endorsed by TADL.

This is a good ride for early birds who like to "smell the roses". It's the one day of the week to enjoy Center Rd on Old Mission Peninsula. Ride departs promptly in order to beat church traffic.

You will immediately get the two biggest Center Rd hills out of the way. We are rewarded at the top with a stop at the overlook near Chateau Grand Traverse to take in the view...and rest! Then, onward to Peninsula Market for a snack and bathroom break. We'll take Bluewater Rd down to Bluff Rd for the return trip--saving the easy part for last.

MILEAGE: 24 miles. Later in the season, we can extend the ride by taking Ladd Rd--if everyone is up for it.

***RAIN POLICY*** This ride will be cancelled by 6:00 a.m., day of ride, if the chance of rain is 40% or greater. Please double check the calendar when the weather is questionable.
