Curious what "gravel/adventure" riding is all about? This loop incorporates a little bit of everything! Leave the skinny, high psi tires home. You could bring your MTB, but for the full experience go with drop bars (and 35mm or wider tires). This is not a "beginner" ride, but anyone with reasonable bike handling skills should have no trouble. We will begin and end from the Sand Lakes Quiet Area parking lot off of Broomhead Rd. Each room does have electricity. Deposits are not required; register only if you’re committed. We will pay individually at check-in. The owner accepts cash or check, no credit cards. Activities: We’ll ride around the island Saturday, @40 miles on mostly hard pack. There are a number of beaches, trails, and historical sites to explore. Pack a lunch or grab a sandwich at the deli, pack a towel and a swimsuit for the tour. We’ll take some shorter tours Sunday. Meals: Brothers Place provides a continental breakfast.
