Ride the Lost Lake Pathway and WASA single track starting from the Lost Lake Pathway parking lot to the Red Door Coffee Shop in Lake Ann. Stop for coffee and return. Total distance is ~14 miles round-trip. Pace is 6-8 mph in the woods. Paula will lead a slower ride to LA starting at 9:30 am from the Lost Lake Pathway parking lot. Same distance at 4-5 mph in the woods.

A 2 night, 3 day tour from TC to DH Day to Honor and back. About 25 to 30 miles each day on road and trail at a leisurely pace. We‘ll stop for lunch and cook at camp. Camping arrangements have been made at DH Day Group Campground Friday night and on the grounds of a private lake home in Benzie County on Saturday. DH Day does not have electric hookups. Those wanting to stay in motels should contact the Foothills Hotel in Glen Arbor and Honor Motel as soon as possible. If you can only make it one night, thats OK. Don‘t forget to join the Touring Interest Group.

This is a 1 night,2 day ride to Charlevoix to catch the Beaver Island Ferry. 1st Day, we‘ll ride to Barnes Park and camp;about 40 miles. 2nd Day we‘ll ride 20 miles to the ferry dock. Register for this event and the Beaver Island tour (7/12-7/14) on the club calendar. If you need to drop a car, we can shuttle to Cherry Capital Airport Parking. UPDATE 4/3/24, ADDITIONAL ROOMS AVAILABLE 2 night/3 day trip to Beaver Island, leaving Charlevoix Friday July 12 and returning Sunday July 14. Road and Gravel Riding, 10 mph pace Loop around island @41 miles; shorter rides planned for Sunday. E-bikes welcome. Route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/45432755 Lodging: We are staying at The Brothers Place, a summer retreat house formerly owned by the Christian Brothers religious order. They are holding 20 single occupancy, twin bed rooms. $50/night per person. Each room has a washbasin, separate dormitory-style showers and baths. A continental breakfast is included. Deposits are not required; register only if you’re committed. Register with the ride leader before 6/30/24 specifying the type of room requested. Activities: We’ll ride around the island Saturday, @40 miles on mostly hard pack. There are a number of beaches, trails, and historical sites to explore. Grab a lunch at the deli, pack a towel and a swimsuit for the tour. We’ll take some shorter tours Sunday. Meals: Brothers Place provides a continental breakfast. There’s a good coffee shop in town, too. Lunch can be bought at the deli or at the supermarket. There are a number of restaurants and a decent microbrewery within a 10 minute ride. Logistics: No SAG on this trip. Bring tools, tubes, and tires. Bring some snacks and adult beverages to share; we have access to the kitchen refrigerator to keep beverages cool for happy hour.
