About this event
Welcome Fall with a scenic Ride Around Torch Lake minus the summer tourists. Since the distance is over 45 miles we are required to list it as an "A" ride, BUT THE PACE WILL BE A MORE COMFORTABLE "B" PACE. Faster "A" riders welcome to ride out front at your own pace.
At 54 miles this is the shortest possible loop around Torch Lake starting from Elk Rapids, and is otherwise similar to the RAT 63 mile route. If we're lucky the lady will have her weekend fresh bakery cart available to buy a snack on Crystal Springs Rd near the famous Sandbar where my fav is her Oatmeal Cream Pie cookie sandwich.
