This ride is fairly challenging. A little bit of everything, this has gravel, rutted sand, punchy climbs, overgrown singletrack, and a couple hike-a-bike sandy spots. Wide tires mandatory! A MTB would not be overkill for sections of this route...
Meet at the Sand Lakes Quiet Area parking lot off of Broomhead Rd at 9:30. Expect 28 miles to take roughly 2-1/2 hrs, give or take.
